One of my friends in junior high built a Lego volcano, and spray-painted the
thing gray when he was done (including the pieces from his yellow castle!
Ack!!) at any rate, while being a little tighter to fit together, they
still worked okay. Just try to avoid getting too much paint on the studs or
on the underside.
