In a way, it's kinda like that now, at least in the sense that the amount of
color gets progressively stronger as more and more people give input.  Thus,
something rated by no one is pure gray, and something rated by only one or
two people is pale red.  It only turns strong red or strong black when there
are about 5 or more people (it's a gradual fade).

(...) ah... but I meant instead of the score saying "rating: 50" it would just have a color for rating... though you will lose the color coding for the number of people who rated... :/ :) Dan (25 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Er, what I just wrote was backwards. You're talking about having color but no numbers? How is that different from having the numbers? Even the 6x6x6 safe palette shows six gradations of red from black to red, and very few people here (as a (...) (25 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
