Strange. I got my cygwin through the cygnus site, but as far as i can tell it's the same as the one on arthurdent. Mine comes from one of the mirrors on ftp://go.cygnus.com/...n/latest/. Matthew is absolutely right. Many companies try to take their trademark nonsense way too far, usually without legal basis. I remember a recent case (perhaps relevant here, noting Matthew's web address) where Toys'R'Us was going after a collecting (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Welcome to the world of LEGO & robotics! Right out of the box, 700 parts is more than enough to build interesting robots. I think you should save your money until AFTER you PLAY with your MindStorms. It is quite possible that there is a versioning problem here. The cygwin on arthurdent is reasonably new (August?), but not exactly cutting edge. Anyone found any of the new lego sets in the KC Metro area? I've been to Toys R Us at 95th and Quivera and Target at 119th and Metcalf, and 119th and Strang Line. Nothing.
