Ok Peoples, This is one question that i've never really seen addressed anywhere. We all know lego swtiched from 12V to 9V in the early 90's..but why? I've found that shooting a laser pointer at a bicycle reflector gives a good enough return (to a light sensor right next to the laser source) to be detected. The black train windows came from a 4559 which has 4. Also, you might think of getting 2 5542's if you want to make one in all black. Most of the yellow pieces also occur in black in that set, so 2 should allow you to substitute most of the yellow (...) (25 years ago, 14-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)

I have the Amazon set. I like it a good amount. I love the little skeletons and it has one suspended by a chain with a 'trap' that drops it down a shaft into the room.
