In fact thats the reason reversal switches have dead space, because you will short circuit stuff otherwise (might be only for a millisecond though). I don't know if you ever worked with some (...) (...) The color changes all started in 2004. Greys became bleys, brown became reddish-brown, and yellow licensed minifigs became fleshies. There is no "which sets" anymore. Incidentally apparently the new Luke's Landspeeder 8092 is definitely using crappy flesh pieces. I am looking at a paper catalog for January 2010 and it does show all Star Wars minifigures as being YELLOW. Most notably the ones included in the Death (...)
