Yellow or Flesh?

I don't get this whole flesh minifig licensing crap.  But regardless, I am even
more confused by what sets have what color minifigs.

A number of Star Wars sets, both in pictures on the Lego site now, and in
Brickshelf, Peeron, etc pictures seem to have flesh colored minifigs where the
exact same set I own has them in Yellow.  This even includes some of the most
recently released sets from late 2009/2010 such as:
8083 Rebel Trooper Battle Pack
8084 Snowtrooper Battle Pack
7749 Echo Base
8038 Battle of Endor

I do not recall if I saw yellow in the Lego.com pictures at the time of purchase
or if I just didn't look assuming they would be yellow.  And lo, mine are indeed
all yellow.  But the pictures on the site now are certainly showing flesh.  Did
this change in the last couple of weeks only?  Or is it random what you will
get?  Or have the pictures always been flesh but the figures yellow?

So how does one know when to buy a set or not if one can not tell what the
minifig colors will be? [I REFUSE to buy sets with minifigs that can not be
universally used elsewhere, so they MUST be yellow with the exception of certain
characters such as Lando Calrissian...ok he is the only exception]

By the way Lego is losing tons of my $$ this way.  I would have bought every
single Indiana Jones set but for the crappy flesh minifigs.

If it's Star Wars, Indiana Jones, or any other licensed property, it should (...) (14 years ago, 20-Jan-10, to lugnet.starwars)

Incidentally apparently the new Luke's Landspeeder 8092 is definitely using crappy flesh pieces. I am looking at a paper catalog for January 2010 and it does show all Star Wars minifigures as being YELLOW. Most notably the ones included in the Death (...)
