Problem when rendering custom colors

Hello,

Im new to LUGNET.
Although I use LDRAW yet for some years, I recently got interested ib creating
and using custom parts (especially minifig torsos). I've created some easy to
use template so I can create custom minifig torsos via bmp2ldraw32. The results
might not meet the quality of the official parts but they work for me.
I also figured out how to use custom colors.

Now when I want to render scenes via POV RAY I encounter a strange problem.
Surfaces featuring my custom colors sometimes have strange reflections on it.
But the strange thing is following:

When the surface is color 16 in the .dat file of the part and is just assigned
my custom color in MLCad, is works fine.

But if I implant the custom color in the .dat file of this part these
reflections occur.

For info: I use the the latest L3P und POV RAY

I really don't have any idea here.
So if anybody knows a solution to this problem, I'd appreciate any help.

(...) It's pretty hard to say what is happening without seeing your files. I need to see the portions of the POV-Ray file which define colors, or the include files which show colors. You could also post an example *.ldr file. Eric Albrecht (14 years ago, 22-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)
