Re: The Future of LEGO(R) CITY Lies With the People

(...) This poll is interesting. Some of the options appear to be already released, or contain significant parts (sub-sets) from majors recently released, and or pending release sets. The first option shows the City Square. This set looks like the (...) (16 years ago, 6-Apr-09, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.general, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Updated Primitives Reference

(...) Sorry, but this is a bad idea. These primitives are unofficial - which means that before release the names might change. In fact some of them will definitely change. I don't like to break other peoples webpages, but this might happen now. (...) (16 years ago, 6-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

LEGO Factory / PaB Pricing Study

You've probably noticed that the LEGO online Pick-A-Brick / LEGO Factory palette has recently been updated with new parts - and new prices. As an avid user of the LEGO Factory system, I was curious just how much the prices had gone up by. I created (...)   Re: Help needed on gear spacing, and another question

First (zeroth?), thanks to all the information and helpful hints. I should have realized that the worm gear doesn't fit with the rack, as their pitches won't match up. That's really obvious and I should have seen that. Second, the worm -> gear -> (...) (16 years ago, 6-Apr-09, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: New LEGO Education set - 9580 WeDo Robotics Construction Set

(...) To be fair, I think WeDo is targeted at much younger audience than the RCX and NXT. The chart on page 2 of the Dacta catalog actually specifies it as elementary school only, while the NXT is elemetary school through college. Which means WeDo (...)   Want to Buy: 16-20 similarly colored Kraata

I recently found a great use for Kraata for an upcoming project. But I do not have enough Kraata, and Bricklink tends to sell them one-offs as collectibles. I need 16-20 Kraata of the same basic color scheme. I would prefer them to be some (...) (16 years ago, 6-Apr-09, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: New LEGO Education set - 9580 WeDo Robotics Construction Set

(...) It would be nice to see if the sensors can be stacked on top of a motor allowing read and write actions on the same port. Also, I'd love to know if these new parts will work with any free software. I've seen the parts (sensors and hub) for (...) (16 years ago, 5-Apr-09, to lugnet.robotics)
