Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

(...) Neat! Here's what I get with my quick attempt to try the examples with the current code, built using the same Qt 3.3.7 I used for the alpha. The bricks appear scaled correctly, but there are some large artifacts. ldview -ModelSize=600 (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I'm sorry if you thought that my post was alarmist over-reaction. I could claim your response to my post was much the same, I guess. (...) No, no. (...) What units does the -ModelSize argument use? (...) Thanks for the examples! Those are helpful. Your recent changes must indeed have fixed something relevant; the images I generate with the first few example commands are very large (and not to (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 1970s sets in microscale

(...) IIRC, wasn't there some pics of somebody's micro SW MOCs on Brickshelf a long time ago - they used a 1x1 brick for a Tie Fighter (or something like that)? It was pretty funny seeing one part MOCs like that! (URL) (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: 1970s sets in microscale

(...) I initially was trying to build a *micro* Constellation, but by the time it was finished I thought the model better deserved to be called a 'mini'. Of course, this brings up the entire debate about what scale is micro, what is mini and so on. (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

That's a first for me. The web Preview of my previous message looked different. The images were all placed on the line after their associated command line, which was what I wanted, and made it easier to read. --Travis (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: LDView command line snapshot scaling

(...) fine, as long as you set x to be big enough. With the current source code, -cg (with radius) should also work fine. Despite the fact that -cg was documented to support the radius part in LDView 3.1, it in fact didn't. I fixed that, but perhaps (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: 1970s sets in microscale

I can see your point - its interesting how it appears to me that many AFOL's perception of Lego "back in the good ol' days" seems to change depending on what the Lego was like in their respective childhoods.
