Hi, Arthur.

Excellent model!  That downside-out building method really does allow you to
capture the feel of this cathedral at this scale in a way that "normal" building
would not.  I'm also happy to see you've added the new outdoor photos to your
brickshelf gallery.

For anyone unfamiliar with this Florence, Italy landmark, I echo Holger in
suggesting you check out some photos of the original for comparison (or just to
admire in and of themselves).  Having just recently had the pleasure of visiting
the Duomo in person (including climbing all 400+ steps to the top of the
Campanile for the astounding views), I can attest that this model really
captures something of the building's uniqueness with Arthur's unique building
technique.

Arthur, you specifically asked for criticism, and the only thing I can think to
mention is that your model lacks any green to represent the green marble details
that add to the Duomo's distinctive look.  I realize that this may be asking the
impossible at this scale.  The only way I can think to add some subtle green
would be perhaps behind some of the 1x2 grill tiles or in the bricks partially
exposed behind the teeth of the plates with teeth you've used.
But this is a very minor gripe.  From a distance, you don't even really see the
green on the actual cathedral.

Beautiful construction!  I look forward to seeing your hinted-at fiture models
to incorporate this downside-out technique.

Best regards,

-Brendan
