  I'm lucky to be alive
 
Well, I'm feeling extremely fortunate to still be alive today. This morning on the way into work I got rear-ended by an SUV. The rear of my car is compacted to almost nothing. I'm basically uninjured. A couple people came up to me after the accident (...) (24 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.people, lugnet.loc.us)

I understand that SUVs and other raised up vehicles represent a particular hazard to more typical automobiles in an accident because they have a tendency to get pushed up and ride over the (...) Wow, "geçmis olsun" Frank. I was back crashed last year, and still have some waist pains from the accident. I hope you don't have any permanent defects. Well, not quite, but I went to the salvage yard this afternoon to retrieve what I could from the car (I actually got most of the salvageable stuff right after the accident as it turns out). KeeRIST! How fast did he accel in stopped traffic to do that?!? I'm surprised he didn't leave burnout marks from his start to pound your car that bad. He probably dropped his cell phone and accidently stepped on the throttle while looking under the seat for the phone <G> or the firestone Atx blew out under the heat of stop and go traffic and he lost control.HaHa Sheesh!
