Known bugs: Upper header section isn’t displayed correctly in some browsers (but should be correct at least in IE and Firefox). I’m working on this.

Please post again comments, ideas, suggestions; I’d like to read your opinions.

Rene, this is really coming together nicely. My few personal nits...

The alternating background colours on the top stories links seems to just add clutter and detract from actualy reading the links. Is it really necessary?
The text for the titles in the center section seems a little big.
Having pre-existing text in search boxes. Uh, I hate that. :)

You know, in theory, it is supposed to let the eye find and locate the individual stories better, but I have to agree with you Jason-- for some reason, it seems to confuse my eye rather than help it. (...) I think what bothers me (and maybe this is the case for others) is that these alternating colors are too disimilar--the contast between them is too much. I would suggest replacing the white color with the same light blue as the background of (...) (17 years ago, 23-Dec-06, to lugnet.admin.suggestions, FTX)
