I agree. Thats the problem. As an adult I am torn between wanting exacting
realism and buildability. Especially since Pteranodons, Pterodactyls and
Pterosaurs have always been my favorite extinct animals I wish Lego had made
a better head specifically for them. Even the raptor heads are more fit as
Apatosauri and Brachiosauri. But Lego is always torn between realism and
abstraction, between POOPs, SPUDs and basic bricks. These dinosaurs take me
back to the Yellow Castle days when Lego effectively stated that an animal
(in that case the horses) composed of bricks was okay. I find that a
reassuring statement from the company today when Lugnetters so often
complain that the company has gone astray. And when the dinos come out I
expect to see a vast array of MOCs such as the T-Rex starship 2000 or that
otherwise incorporate these parts.
