Hi James,

I have seen many ICE 3 photos...and want to see more.  The more the better to
then try to model the shape with LEGO pieces.

You will get them later, sorry for waiting, but I am to busy at the moment.

This is not a problem.  I have searched the web and found many ICE 3 photos,
as well as many good photos of high-speed trains around the world.

Uh, I think so.  It is always difficult to model LEGO creations with
words- particularly across a language barrier!  And, for your efforts with
English I thank you; for...Ich spreche Deutch ein bischen.

Dein Deutsch ist nicht schlecht! Did you get it? Go on with it! HAve you been
to Europe often? Trainspotting I would think!

No, I didn't get it.  Sorry.  It has been far too many years since I used
German successfully.  :-(
I have been to Europe two times.  Three weeks of Eurail Pass train travel in
1981 when I was 11 years old.  There I loved the German DB103 Express
locomotive (cream yellow and red colors), for I rode that type of train set
several times.  I remember walking forward through the train cars to get to the
very first car behind the locomotive.  I stood face to face with the egg-shaped
nose of the locomotive through a window in the car's throughway.  :-)

In 1982 I received the set 7740. Now, I have tried to make a different, more
egg shaped, locomotive for the 7740 and enjoy more cars than the original 2
included in set 7740:

Yes.  I am aware of this piece in the following colors:
Yellow- in a current small town construction set
Blue- train set
Green- Flashspeeder
White- Coast Guard HQ
Orange- a small Artic set

The black one from 2001 seems to be printed to me ;-((

Unfortunate.

Orange is such a great colour. A shame the Helloween bucket wasn't available • in
Europe ;-( But I got 4 copies of the helloween S@H special some weeks ago!! • And
the SW 7171 got some nice orange pieces as well. I don't know the artic sets
either...

Halloween S@H special?!  I have missed something.  I did not know until now of
this set #3731 Pumpkin Pack for US$9.99 at USA S@H!  Thanks!

For more 2001 pictures (more detailed) check out BrickSet:

Thanks for the link.

By the way:
Happy Helloween!! Brick or treat - is this what you say on Tuesday???

Funny.  But, I stick to Trick or Treat as most households would not understand.

later,
James Mathis
