I see you really did read those Maori links!
Bionicle is currently the bread and butter at LEGO...what are they going to
do if they really do pull the entire line? They have invested millions in
this so far, and built up a huge fan base in almost no time. All of those
fans will be left dangling, and angry at LEGO ('cause they still won't know
WHO the Maori are, and wouldn't give a rat's @$$ about them and their
culture anyway).
This whole situation sucks with a capital SUCK. The Maori suck for trying to
forward their causes riding on the pocketbook of LEGO. Frankly, LEGO sucks
for bending over and letting the Maori ream them like this. And society
sucks for allowing political correctness and litigation determine how things
will be, rather than common sense.
