Your MOCs suck. Ok, the Ezekiel is fairly interesting but that’s about it. You barely have anything on Brickshelf. You used to have a site but I can’t find it.

So let me get this straight...

You apparently care enough about the whole MOC show-and-tell interchange to criticize the feedback aspect of it---to whine about some mysterious LUGNET elite class...but you don’t really care about the first part of the equation, which is the MOC presentation. You have almost nothing in your Brickshelf folder and most of it is fairly mundane or poorly photographed.

Yeah when I graduated, I lost my website host(the college). I always posted everything there instead of on Brickshelf. I still have the photos, but almost all of them are even more photographicly lacking. Many of them were taken with a video camera capable of stills. I still don’t have a digital camera and it will be a long time before I can get one. I have had to borrow cameras from different people over the years so quality has often been lacking. So I didn’t think it was worth loading them up again.

And I do care about presentation. When I had my website it won CLSOTW, but the comments said that my photos were all blurry. The pictures were really terrible; so I told myself that I would no longer use the camera. But not having access to anything else many of my creations (including some of my best) never got captured before they were broken apart.(and my website never got updated) Finially I decided I would have to use what I could find. I care but I guess I’m just not good at it. Any photography tips?

   HUH?!

You have totally discounted your argument.

Well what I was trying to do was give a reason to a factor as why that I think there were less posts. I was trying to use my self and thinking as an example of what I thought others have thought before. What I ended up doing was sounding whiney, complaining, and focused only on my own posts. I can see why everyone missed what I was aiming for. I did a horrible job at it. Rereading my post, I would have came to the same conclusion.

And doing a search I can see that you’ve been around for a long time! What is wrong with you man!?

Well it seems I’m whiney, inarticulate, bad at typed humor, and my mocs suck. :) (this is supposed to be said with a smile and a laugh)

What is it about the internet that turns once strong, confident people into poor defenseless whiners.

I actually think it stems from how much we use facial expressions to convey meaning. A huge part of our language skills are based on visual feedback. I’m horrible at getting what I want said, said an in the way I would say it verbally.

What happened to good old fashioned skill and class, people?

-BUILD!

-Take good pictures!

-Take the time to put a large gallery of work together that you’ve spent a lot of time on!

-And after all that effort...*even then*..don’t complain about a lack of feedback. Never do that. That is positively the most moronic and uncool thing to ever do. You become “one of them”.

Don’t become “one of them”, Steven. Please. For me.

For you, I’ll do my best.

I want you around. I want everyone around. But no one wants whining. Ever. It’s just noise. Hell what I’ve done is just noise!

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! (bursts into tears of confusion)
