Just checked .space, and no posts for a day. .Castle has more traffic, and
classic-castle.com has had even more. Yes, its Spring Break, but last week
was very quiet, too.
I think we need something around here to revitalize the .space community,
something to encourage people to sign up and also encourage old posters who
are lurkers (or worse) to post. Perhaps we might even need to follow .Castle
(*gasp*) and start our own website- a classic-space.com- to liven things up?
Lugnet is really nice, but I think without something new the whole community
stagnates.
Just some thoughts.

I feel pretty goofy responding to this topic when Ive let so many other good
mocs lately go by without a post of praise.
Im in the camp of AFOLs who are in a bit of a post-PDX lull. I worked pretty
hard in the couple weeks leading up to PDX to make some of my mocs presentable
for the fest. And then I came home, saw my shoddy rushed work, and decided that
I couldnt give these mocs a proper presentation until I had completed them
inside and out. So I dismantled them a bit and set to work again. So I have
sitting here at home an incomplete Matrix hovership, and a nearly-finished
3vilbase Module.
And I have a design for a P-38 ship that I need to bring to life before the end
of the month. And theres a PCS ship design Ive had on the back burner since
before Christmas. And then theres this Jade Empire thing thats gearing up. And
I vowed to myself that I would take a stab at Techwest before spring. And, and,
and...
And the trouble is, for the past few weeks I just dont seem to have any drive
in the moc-building department. Plus I had to pack up my collection while my
bedroom was rearranged. And I have a busy week jammed with work, school, church,
family, friends and a girlfriend. As a priority, Lego fell a few notches after
PDX.
Im sure Lugnet and .space will liven up in a little while. A month or more?
Less? I dont know, but itll happen.
