Yeah, those corners. I seriously considered using some castle wall corners up there to round them off a little bit, but never worked that out to my liking.

Some of my earliest sketches had a big dish on front. I suppose it would make sense to point the entire ship at the object you’re studying. What I really wanted to do was have the dish on the bottom (opposite the bridge), but I didn’t relish the thought of building the massive stand that would’ve required.

I think I’m gonna just say it is what it is. I’ve been working on this for too long - I’m ready to take it apart and build something else. My next SHIP will be better :-)
