Wow.  I like that picture the best.  It looks more spider-ish in that pose.

That's a very nice (and weird, and thought-provoking) MOC.  Good to see
you're thinking Lego, even if not physically building.  :)

There are lots of nice things here.  The use of the Star-Wars engine pieces
on the legs is very nice, and the effect produced by the round joint-areas
is also very cool.

The weaons are is also nice, particullarly the rotating command pod/laser
turret.

I can imagine this walking around on a strange, unknown asteroid or moon
until it is finally discovered... any story line behind this?

Any ideas on how strong this would be in real life?  What did you do for the
leg hinges?  And how did you produce those great special effects on the
lasers...
