(...) Oh it's normal :) Soft use the library liblnp to connect to tower with lnpd. And lnpd block the acess to the tower ! Hi Vik, An input has a 10K pull-up resistor to 5V in it. When nothing is connected to the input the A/D converter will return a value of about 1023 (which represents 5V). Hi, Im still learning legos (brickOS) and my friend asked me whether an input could be configured as an output? Also, i have seen several robots using 2 RCX, all connected together using wires running from 1 input to anothers output...how does this (...) I have been away for quite a while, and when I tried to upgrade to 0.2.6.10 I found that after I firmdl3 (which works, and the RCX works) I am unable to dll (yes, using the included dll, yes, with rebuilt .lx files). Hello, I hope somebody could help me with the following problem. So far I was using brickos 0.2.6.09 under Windows XP and everything worked fine. (...) Cygwin is pure Windows. DJGPP is DOS, and doesn't work well with brickOS. Although everyone should use Linux. Carlos, Last time I checked you were unable to compile the kernel using winLegOS or DJGPP. For those not familiar with the inner workings on winLegos it is essentially a pre-built Hitachi cross-compiler with several gnu utilities running under (...) My son and I have been looking BrickOS but one sticking point is that we have a slow connection at home which makes getting large packages hard. Carson, It looks like you missed the tar package.You can check to see what Cygwin packages have been installed on your system by using the cygcheck command at the cygwin command prompt. Hi, I have been trying to use my lego mindstorms kit along with the USB IR Tower in linux. I have had limited success. I managed to patch the distribution so that firmdl3 recognizes the usb device. Ed, thanks for the quick response. I wrote out a reply, deciding that I would scrap 2.95 and just go for 3.1, but then I got an email pointing out the problem I was having was a bug in binutils.
