Problems after upgrading from brickos 0.2.6.09 to 0.2.6.10

Hello,
I hope somebody could help me with the following problem.
So far I was using brickos 0.2.6.09 under Windows XP and everything worked
fine. I downloaded version 0.2.6.10 and downloaded it's brickos.srec file to
the RCX. As soon as I switch on the RCX now and connect a motor it makes
some noise although no program is downloaded yet. Since I am not very
familiar with a Unix environent I suspect the problem there. This is what I did:
a) downloaded brickos 0.2.6.10 under c\cygwin
b) typed 'cd /brickos 0.2.6.10' at the BASH prompt
c) typed 'make realclean' at the BASH prompt
d) typed 'make' at the BASH prompt
e) downloaded brickos.srec with bricxCC
After I re-download brickos.srec for 0.2.6.09 everything seems okay again.
