| Hi all, I have built brickos 0.9.0 on Linux platform kernel 2.4.29. Brickos was successfully built with only C (no c++) support. | Wow, that answers a lot of questions, all but one: why is the USB's 'long range' shorter than the Serial's distance? Was my speculation of the available power true? | (...) I've never used LNPd, but since it's old enough to have "legOS" as its first letter, then it must support the serial IR tower. If no one else has info for you, you might consider buying one.
