I know one thing that can ruin a motor.... Never drop it shaft down on the
ground, even in dirt. I was carrying it across my yard, and it fell, and now
will not work anymore. The shaft was jammed back inside the motor. If your
motor will not turn at all, then you can take the power plate thing out. It has
2 clip things, 1 with a capacitor. Cut off the capacitor, and you can use it
for a temporary connection from sensor to RCX+wire to test it, before you ruin
a wire.
