Excuse the tabloid heading, but when I investigated undocumented behavior of
the Scout last night, I hit onto some surprising features.

Highlights:
- overview of RCX-triggered responses
- wipe the dust off your Code Pilot, the Scout emits bar codes!

| (...) Great information Eric! I had noticed that the red light pulsed but it did not occur to me that it could be a coded message. If I could get a scan of Code Pilot Code Card, I would like to do some experiments to see if and what codes the Scout (...) (25 years ago, 28-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| Additional observations: - at the start of any program, the Scout emits barcode 004 which triggers a 'steam puff' sound in the Code Pilot (if it's in record mode). The Scout seems to emit no other barcodes (but motor left, motor right, motor float (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| Hi Eric, thanks for digging into the Scout and revealing all those amazing features! Last Sunday at the Mindfest I met a Lego representative who confirmed that there's much more than most of people image packed into the Scout. He told me they're (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)
