So far, the Scout hasn't responded to the barcodes, it only emits it at
certain points in its program. As I recall, in power mode it emits a barcode
when you touch 'C'-motor on the remote, but this is the same as in regular
mode.
Someone should really try to lay two scouts head to head to see if one's
light sensor responds to the barcode light of the other one. But maybe this
can only be determined when one Scout is specifically programmed to read a
barcode, which may not be in the preset programs.
