Ugg, I never would have thought that M$ would have interfered with my Fav

Hey Dean, this is not necessarily going to be a disaster. As much as I
dislike Microsoft as a company, I have to admit that during the past year or
so they have made some impressive improvements to some Mac software. Some
critics have gone so far as to state that the Mac version of the latest
Office 2001 and Outlook Express apps, for example, are better than the
Windows version! From what I've seen (I'm a Mac System Admin for a major
textbook publisher, btw) they've made some effort to make their products
more Mac-like (they had to since Mac users stopped buying their junk for
awhile!). Additionally, there was an announcement last summer at Macworld
Expo declaring that Steve Jobs and Gates were going to launch a new company
to create more Mac gaming content. As long as this continues and as long as
Mindstorms fans who use Macs (or Linux...) make it known what they want,
there's a good chance that things will continue to develop in our favor.
It's too early to speculate but hopefully the fine folks at Lego will keep
the hacking spirit alive, allowing more and more people to get excited about
it. Of course, only time will tell. 8)
