Re: TCS Update... + more meeting info

(...) Shiri, Couple of points. 1. We have made a decision about younger members and attending official NELUG events you may have missed the post but you can see it here... (URL) this is nothing against you personally it is just that it is what the (...) (25 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: TCS Update... + more meeting info

(...) Hi Eric and everyone, I might be nagging here - I've asked this a few times but never got a direct answer. I'd really like to come and "check it out", maybe contribute a few minifigs and small buildings, but... (and it's a big BUT) Do you mind (...) (25 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: TCS Update... + more meeting info

(...) Yup thats right just North of Boston. I guess I should have made clear in my previous post that I would actually prefer to have the meeting at a location west of Boston or something. Not because it is more convinient for me but because I would (...) (25 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: TCS Update... + more meeting info

(...) If I remember correctly, you live just north of Boston. My point being that I wouldn't mind picking some people up on the way, or vice-versa if some Bostonians want to commute down to mine or Dave Eaton's house. I've got plenty of floorspace (...) In lugnet.org.us.nelug, David Eaton writes: <snip> (...) I personally don't mind going out to Worcester for a meeting. If you can find something a WPI that would meet our needs that is great and of course your place is up to you but I don't mind. (...) (25 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: TCS Update... + more meeting info

(...) Yeah, I'm thinking that either someone's home or a confrence-room-type-thing that's actually close to parking would be good for the dry run... The room at BU is good for typical meetings, but I don't think it's particularly suited to this kind (...) (25 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: TCS Update... + more meeting info

(...) I think that might be a good idea. I had origionally thought we could do the "dry-run" at the next general meeting but now that I think about it that might not be the best approach for a couple of reasons. 1. Not everyone is into Castle. 2. We (...) (25 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: TCS Update... + more meeting info

(...) So, this being a "general purpose" meeting, any thoughts as to a dry run of the TCS castle display? That'd probably be best on a weekend, I'd think, though, and would probably only be for those of us contributing to the display... As for (...) (25 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: TCS Update... + more meeting info

(...) Friday the 25 would be the best for me seeing I have it off. In or around Waltham would be a good place to meet. With a stop off at the TCS. Dan M. (25 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

(...) 2 (...) for (...) has (...) have (...) The week of 2/21 sounds good to me, although the later in the week (Wednesday on), the better. As for a location, I'm flexible...BU works for me as well as Waltham, but it doesn't really matter where. (25 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Anything suggestions for the NELUG website.

I don't know how many of you check the NELUG site on any kind of regular or semi-regular basis but I do try and keep it updated with links to relevent posts here on LUGNET and other information like member counts etc. Anyway I was wondering if (...)   TCS Update... + more meeting info

I spoke to the guy's at The Construction Site yesterday about the Castle Window display. They said that there next opening would be in about 2 weeks which I thought might be a bit tight and they said that the next openning after that would be in (...)   Re: Brikwars/NELUG Meetings

(...) My suggestion would be a Saturday afternoon, with perhaps a walk down to one of the aforementioned Guinness Outlets after, where the losers can purchase a round for the winners. At any rate, a Sunday would be bad for me, because I work until 4 (...) (25 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Re: Brikwars/NELUG Meetings

(...) Hmmm. I didn't realize we had "regularly-scheduled" meetings :-). We do seem to have at least one a month but I wouldn't call them "regular". (...) The 13th is questionable for me because I start a class on the 14th and will probably have to (...) (25 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Brikwars/NELUG Meetings

Hi all, Do we have a date yet for the next NELUG meeting? I was about to post a message about the upcoming BRIKWARS event, but I don't want to conflict with the regularly-scheduled meeting. My initial thoughts were to have it on a weekend afternoon (...) (25 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Re: Next NELUG Meeting...

<snip> (...) That's another good idea we need to talk about.
