Shiri,
Couple of points.
1. We have made a decision about younger members and attending official
NELUG events you may have missed the post but you can see it here...
http://www.lugnet.com/loc/us/ma/?n=140
Any this is nothing against you personally it is just that it is what the group
decided and it is our only real requirement. Besides we could not live up to
our origional charter if we allowed those under 18. For more information about
NELUG and its charter please check out our FAQ page here.
http://www.nelug.org/FAQ/
2. As for Castle World that is a bit different in that it is not part of
NELUG. I would guess that we could have a local Castle World meeting that was
not connected with NELUG. While many of he attendee's would be NELUG members
it would be a Castle World event and therefore you should be able to attend.
As for the TCS window display that is a NELUG sponsored event so to hold to our
charter that is only for NELUG members.

I am sorry if this does not seem fair to you but it is how the members of NELUG
want it. Again this is not something against you it is simply holding to our
charter and the wishes of our members.

| (...) I don't want to leave Eric in the position of sounding like the lone "bad guy" on this, so I'll chip in: It's totally not you personally, it's just a policy decision we've made. I'm sure you would be quite ok at (at least most) of our meetings (...) (24 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)
