For now I would like to see if we can try and work out a meeting for the
week of February 21st.  This is a good time for me as I will be traveling
the next 2 weeks or so.  This also gives us some time to decide on a
location and lets people work on their models for a couple more weeks.

Friday the 25 would be the best for me seeing I have it off.  In or around
Waltham would be a good place to meet.  With a stop off at the TCS.

Dan M.

So, this being a "general purpose" meeting, any thoughts as to a dry run of
the TCS castle display?  That'd probably be best on a weekend, I'd think,
though, and would probably only be for those of us contributing to the
display... As for dates, I'm pretty much free whenever (except for Sunday the
20th) Or are we going to do a dry run after/later in the meeting?

I think that might be a good idea.  I had origionally thought we could do the
"dry-run" at the next general meeting but now that I think about it that might
not be the best approach for a couple of reasons.

1.  Not everyone is into Castle.
2.  We might be rushed to do it all in a couple of hours.
3.  It might be fun to have time to just fool around with the setup to see what
works best.  We wouldn't have time on a week night.
4.  The logistics of doing this on a week night might be tought with all the
loading and unloading.

So yah I think a separate weekend meeting for the dry-run would be cool.  I am
basically free on weekends (given enough advance warning) so now all we need is
a location.  I suppose if this is going to be a smaller meeting with only those
with an interest in the TCS display we could do this at someone's home.

That beg's the question...  How many people other than Dave and I are
interested in doing a TCS dry run on a weekend.  You don't necessarily have to
have a model to include if you just want to come check it out but if you want
to come please let us know because if this is going to be at someone's home we
need a fairly accurate count of people.

(...) Hi Eric and everyone, I might be nagging here - I've asked this a few times but never got a direct answer. I'd really like to come and "check it out", maybe contribute a few minifigs and small buildings, but... (and it's a big BUT) Do you mind (...) (25 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

(...) I'm very interested in contributing to the window project. From your wording above, I wonder if it's required that I attend the dry run. I probably would, but just asking. Also, I have a number of things built now (nothing really big). Is (...) (25 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)
