  October 5th Build Session

Hey all! I won't be able to be at the build session. Kim will be home though and able to let you in. The kids will be having a baby sitter about 5 PM so you won't have access to the house after that. Regards, Steve (21 years ago, 5-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

Re: Anybody know anything about this???

I signed up last year or so for a Bloomington meetup, and get quarterly invitations, some of which I respond to. THere's never been a critical mass to actually call a meeting, though. (...) (21 years ago, 3-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Anybody know anything about this???

I was browsing the net today and came across this. (URL) anyone know anything about this? Is it done by some of our members? See you all on Sunday. Jeramy (21 years ago, 3-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  GATS - January 3-4

I got a signup sheet for GATS here in Indianapolis January 3-4, 2004. They've changed the payment policy so that we are guaranteed $200 instead of competing in a contest. It appears that the payment is based on the number of shows we've done. Since (...) (21 years ago, 3-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Items for the October GATS

Hey everyone, I unfortunately will not actually be able to attend any more of the build sessions prior to the October 18th GATS. I will however, figure out a way to drop a few things off prior to the show, perhaps on the weekend of 12th if not (...) (21 years ago, 2-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  FW:oil platform

Due to a family death, I will be unable to attend this Sunday's build session. I want to let everyone know the project is completed, so I will present it on the 5th of October.   Sunday + Walmart Clearance

Hi Dave, I'll be there Sunday. My wife went shopping today and found some clearence LEGO at the Lebanon and Frankfort Wal-Marts.   I'll be there Sep. 28

As it turns out I DO have this coming Sunday off and will be at the build session. I'm sure Mark will be there along with anyone who added bulk packs to his LSAH order.   Sky Dragon

The sky wheel (Ferris wheel-type thing) is finished. Since I won't be at any build sessions, I want to give you dimensions so you can allocate room. Thanks, Mark! I've found/acquired a few parts recently, too.   Re: IndyLUG PC

  Two things

Two things: 1) Who has my Digitrax DCC system? I need to get it back so I can get it up to Purdue's railroad club. 2) I got GATS information today.   I'll be there on Sep. 21

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be there tomorrow for the build session. Yeah, it's really late notice, but I know that there are people who like to know if anyone else is going to show up. I'll probably get there between 2:00 and 2:30. (...)   Re: is it a relay or is it yet another motorized switch?

Hi Brian, The plans are perfect. I'm going to make 5 for you to motorize some of the switches on your DCC loop.   Re: is it a relay or is it yet another motorized switch?

A couple corrections. 1. Just noticed I have a 2 x 4 plate on top of a 1 x 4 brick. You should probably replace these two pieces with a 2 x 4 brick or similar. The extra plate of height is unnecessary (though it doesn't hurt anything). 2. In a 5 x 7 (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.trains)

is it a relay or is it yet another motorized switch?

Seeing the pitiful designs I've made for motorized 9v train points, my brother Chris came up with one. Put a housing over it, and people will swear it's a relay. Not too many down sides with this one. There's no getting around the 6 brick height (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.trains)

  Re: September 2003 Meeting Minutes

(...) TLC's Event Kit includes pieces that can be used for this. The kit I received had a box with 19 lbs of blocks. That's plenty of pieces, and there is a much reduced fear of them walking away. THAT'S WHAT THE KIT IS FOR! (21 years ago, 15-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)
