Don't forget, on August 24th the Greater Lafayette Lego Robotics Club (URL) is hosting a LEGO sumo competition (URL) robots are limited to 12in x 12in and can not weigh more than 2 lbs. (...) Our group (NALUG) just did this for our upcoming show in September. We turned a bunch of short Lego wires into a bunch of long sorta-Lego wires, and ran them back to a central control board. It's cute! I've got a micro-motor point switcher working. Stole and improved someone else's idea. I'll post it and give formal credit later. Next is the automated level crossing. I often use transparency markers to tag bricks because they wipe clean with moisture. But with those there's a chance the mark will rub off with handling. Has anyone tried this in a group setting with success? (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

Is anyone interested in getting together sometime this month to build? I'm tied up on the 27th, but how about the 20th?
