  Re: Thomas?

  Thomas?

Kevin, this occurred to us after you left last night. Is Thomas going to make it to this show (the vote was certainly that he should ;-). Robin (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Updated To Do lists

This list is NOT complete. It doesn't cover all the arrangements that some of you have made with each other, and probably leaves out other things, but hopefully will be enough of a reminder for you. Shared responsilibities are listed under each (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Flyers?

We forgot to talk about this last night. Alex and I discussed this over the phone a bit, and we were somewhat undecided about whether or not to have flyers at the show(s), as we did last year. My thoughts are that we probably should, but that they (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Double Railroad Crossings' Tiles...

Hi, I've found 59 light grey 1x8 tiles so far. Could dig up a few more if necessary. If no one else is supplying these, I'd be happy to. (Our layout is gonna rock!) -Bryan (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Emergency VLC meeting.

Argh. Another meeting I can't come to tonight because I didn't know till today (and I promised my g/f I'd take her to the States). Aug 5th... I'll try and remember that (Bryan, can you leave me an icq note during the week of Aug 5th?) Hopefully I (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Emergency VLC meeting.

(...) Just thought I should clarify, the wood pieces are 1/4" thick. They've been cut into triangles, and each piece covers about the same area as a normal piece of paper. Uh, what are "shims"?? -Bryan (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Never-ending quest for green baseplates...

(...) I have always considered them plates! But yes, I'm talking about the 1 brick height 12 x 24 plates ... er, bricks :-) The bad news is that I was confusing them with the smaller 10 x 20 ones. Turns out I've only got 5 of the ones you're talking (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

(...) The distance from the floor to the top of table is 29". I've got about six 1/4" pieces of wood that could be used as "shims" I suppose... -Bryan (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Never-ending quest for green baseplates...

Hi all, Looking at my feeble collection of green baseplates, I'm quite scared that we won't have enough to cover our layout. Perhaps you guys have tons of them, and I'm being pessimistic. So as a result of my worrying, I've come up with an (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

(...) Yeah, I noticed the change in exchange rate too... Well, it was only a matter of time before they realized the 0.06 difference, which is a significant amount! So when are we gonna make a huge group order? :) Bryan (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

O Scale Decals for CN Trains

I know Robin and others gave me a couple of links to companies that sell O Scale Decals for CN and Canadian Trains. I've lost the links and do need some. (My CN Engine is coming along nicely) If you guys can post the links again... Thanks Dean (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: A thought about baseplate substitutes

(...) I've noticed that much of the layout is green and I don't think it will be. The industrial area will be gray I'd bet. Dean (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

My LEGO catalog finally came! WOW!

Very generous space for trains! Though I DID notice that if you pay by cheque it's now 1.54. So no savings there. Credit cards come in about the same now. Cheaper if we get it on a good day.   Actual Table Height

Dean & Kevin, Can you give me the "exact" height of your table surface from the floor. From the last show, I think I have a height of 35 5/8". Please confirm.   Re: A thought about baseplate substitutes

  A thought about baseplate substitutes

It occurs to me that if we don't have enough green bp's this time, we could paint the doors.
