What are your other hobbies and passions? —Magnus Lauglo
Hi all, I'm not sure if this has come up in the past, (if so, can someone please direct me to that thread), but I wonder what kinds of non lego activities you guys get up to, and if you have found any comparisons or contrasts between other hobbies (...)      <snip> (...) Personally I used to have computers as a hobby, but I've been working with them for three years now and the hobby/geek inside me is slowly fading away, I'm mostly using the computer now. Also I used to take a lot of nature photos but (...) (22 years ago, 14-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) Always an entertaining question :) I suspect that you'll find a lot of us are hardcore computer users, and I'm no exception. But don't think I spend all of my days cooped up inside the house feverishly building lego or playing Final Fantasy X, (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Art: Usually pencil, colored pencil, pen & brush ink, or water color. I had the huge whiteboard at work filled with drawings of my co-workers, so I suppose I'm a dry-erase artist, too <g>. This may move back from being a hobby to being my profession (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) You are probably one of the few people here who go back farther in RPGs than me (I started RPGs in 1977). I started war games back sometime in the early 70s with a copy Tactics II. I started my game design passion not much after (by designing (...) (22 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

I always lump F&SF, because while most books can be slotted into one or the other, there are definitely books which really belong in between. Of course really almost all SF is fantasy. (...)      (...) Wow, me too! Actually it was PETs that got me wanting my own computer. By the time I had saved up enough to pay for half (my dad picked up the other half) we had decided on the 8-bit Atari system. Around that time I got an old CPM machine and (...)
