I read the thread about the mp3's, and a few weeks ago I stumbled across
this site:

It gives you a description of how to build a MOBILE mp3 player, for instance
for in your car!

| [moved from lugnet.starwars] (...) I just stumbled onto mp3 music. My 4.6Gig spare drive has about 400Meg left... I wonder how hard it would be to create an mp3-CD player? Put together a CD-ROM drive, DOS-on-a-chip, a DSP, and some custom playback (...) (26 years ago, 25-Nov-98, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
