Unladen? You mean autonomic swallowing not associated with ingestion?
I would hazard a guess that the average airspeed would be dependant upon the
inherent velocity of the lifeform doing the swallowing at the time of the
swallow. Which is virtually unknowable due to Heisenbergs uncertainty
principle. (1)
