Hi Beth and welcome to the group. Newbies are always welcome.
For rec.toys.lego you can search through a good list of archives at the
http://www.dejanews.com site.
As for reviews here, you'd have to check lugnet.reviews. As for how to have
Lugnet search for all entries related to the 5600, I'm not sure how to do it.
This is not a Usenet newsgroup and as far as I know, is not propagated as such
to other newsservers, and therefore not accessible by an archive-type system
like dejanews. If you are asking for a general opinion of 5600, you can post
such a question without negative repercussion to lugnet.general, usually the
most active lugnet group.
You could always ask Todd Lehman, the Lord of Lugnet, how to do searches in
the lugnet.admin.general group. He's been a bit busy lately so don't count on
an answer right away from him, though others might be able to tell you.
A small silver lining here: the .review group usually is not the busiest group
so you don't have to browse through scores and scores of subject lines, unlike
.general or .robotics.
Just wanted to say hi and welcome.
-Tom McD.

| But you CAN in fact do searches. It's easy. (...) Go here: (URL) type 5600 in the search box at the top.. you get 28 article hits in at least 4 different groups. Once you do that, you can refine your search by modifying the groups or the search (...) (26 years ago, 2-Apr-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.reviews)
