I don't think so - I think it's been portrayed as disproportionate, but that
doesn't prove it one way or the other.

The video footage of 12-year-old Muhammed al-Durrah cowering beside his
father before being shot by an Israeli soldier prompted much international
criticism of Israel's methods of containing the violence.

do you think that that kid was killed intentionally?  I seriously doubt it,
and even if he was, I'm abosultly sure that that soldier will stand trial, and
wasn't following orders.

These methods include firing live ammunition and rubber bullets, and the use
of helicopter gunships and anti-tank missiles.

hmmm... rubber bullets in responce to attempts on one life is a little
disproportionate, I'll agree... though twards the other way.  Live ammo
_should_ be used when someone is trying to kill you, don't you agree?

Following the brutal killing of two Israeli soldiers by lynch mobs, Israel
responded with a huge missile attack on buildings in the Gaza and West Bank.

after giving 3 hours warning for people to evacuate the area...

But the shooting has not been one-sided. Armed fighters of Mr Arafat's Fatah
movement have joined Palestinians throwing stones.

throwing much more than stones... molotov cocktails (firebombs), shootings...
missile attacks in the north (though that's the h'isballa, not the fatah).

If it is so contorted, why would your conutry not accept a full independant
review of events?

accepting such a review when the outcome is predetermined will only help
Arafats PR...  I'm sure, that once things will settle down, a review will
be welcomed.
