There is no glossing (unless you are accusing conservatives of racism?), but
merely pointing out liberal inconsistencies (WRT to this issue)

Are we to understand, then, that you will henceforth be tolerant of
homosexuals as well as of Liberals who don’t tolerate intolerance? It
doesn’t sound like it!

No, he gets to be intolerant because he doesn’t believe in tolerance - he just
doesn’t want intolerance of his intolerance, and will pretend that any
intolerance of his intolerance is the same as his intolerance itself, and
therefore said intolerance is not valid (neatly proving that under no
cirmcumstances can he ever be criticized for intolerance). :-)
