Sowell is a syndicated Uncle Tom...uh...columnist that frequently appears in
the Orange County Register. Let's just say he doesn't let facts get in the
way of his opinions. People who hold other opinions from him aren't just
wrong, they are universally contemptuous.
As to the editorial in question, it's his usual level of writing.
