I know some people don't buy because they don't want (or need) huge
quantities, and I'm ok with that, but if there weren't a goodly number of
people who are ok with buying in those quantities I wouldn't have had 120+
orders in the last few months, so I think there is a market either way.
Still, I think I can try to be a little more flexible with some lots and
some pieces. I just can't do what a few people seem to want - things like
"let me buy 2 each of these 18 different types of pieces for 4 cents per
piece" - I'd spend 4 hours a night sorting out $3.00 orders if I went that
route.
I've got parts from 7 copies of the Tie/Y-Wing and 9 copies of the
Snowspeeder sets coming up next. Going to try some things.
What I think makes the most sense is what Troy (I think) mentioned - having
two different kinds of lots at different prices. Lot A would be some bulk
number, say 50 of part XXXX at 10 cents each. Lot B would be either the
same part, but able to be bought individually - say for 15 or 20 cents each.
That sounds good in theory, but Brickbay doesn't provide for that directly,
and trying to keep track of multiple lots of the same part manually would be
a nightmare.
