Re: Baylit & other places to get bulk parts

(...) Wow - High praise considering the source. :-) I've already cleaned out the BrickBay shops of certain parts, and went to Baylit, but it took several tries to get that menu thing on the left. I take it his "Part#" doesn't correspond to LDraw (...) (24 years ago, 13-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.services)

Re: Baylit & other places to get bulk parts

(...) Jon is a good guy to deal with. I ordered from him once a few months back and the service has been excellent.   Re: Baylit & other places to get bulk parts

(...) I've ordered from Baylit before, and it went well. It's a reliable source of parts, and Jon's a good guy. Shipping was (if I recall correctly) very reasonable. Either actual shipping cost only, or very close to it. (I'm in Canada too) (...) (...) (24 years ago, 10-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.services)

Baylit & other places to get bulk parts

Well, I'm about to take my first plunge into buying large quantities of parts on-line, and I was checking out Baylit. they have every piece I'm looking for (and then some!), but I was wondering what other people's experience with them was like. (...) Since so far some "advanced" features are for Windows users only (Excel sales list for instance) I mentioned it, since all these neat things simply don't work for me.   Re: BrickBank ! (was Re: BrickBay Enhancement )

(...) I have to comment on the above paragraph: Brickbay by itself is registered as a business and it provides a service to either individuals or businesses to sell their Lego. (...) ?? To paraphrase any number of sources... "Brickbay is only a venue." Why can't a business use it just as easily as an individual? In response to your question about what it would take to get other business to move to BrickBay, I don't really think that will happen. (...) BAYLIT - (for my part) I'll be short and to the point. Brickbay is great, but it still doesn't answer the needs most builders have for volume parts. (...) You can save on time by buying "bulk"...I typically get US stamps (which are really just ordinary stamps, but $0.55 worth instead of $0.46) in multiples of 10, and only need to pick them up once or twice a year; most drugstores have them.
