If this indeed proves to be true,
then ‘The Red Ghost’ is far more
unique and collectible then I ever
thought possible!!!

From what you’ve said, ‘The Red Ghost’
would be even more rare then any special
promotional item.

The interesting thing is, that there appears
to be a few in circulation. I have a feeling
that there could be less than 20 EVER created.

“The Red Ghost” isn’t simple the most scarce
Castle part of all…it just may be among the
most rare Lego parts ever produced!

Not an official element!
It’s like one of those rare prototype test pieces!
For this part to have made its way into the publics
hands is jus’ phenomenal. Germany is always so lucky.

   I'm grateful for you insight,

Hello! (...) The Red Ghost has never been an 'official' LEGO element. Rumours say they were produced just for testing purpose, maybe for adjusting the molds of the actual gloom-in-the-dark ghosts. One factory that produces test molds for LEGO is or (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.castle)
