  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) He could sure blow up their hiding places though. And a caveman probably isn't that much smaller than a womp rat, and Luke used to bullseye those all the time in beggar's canyon. Good thing the Empire did away with the ASPCA or Luke would (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

(...) Ooo! Ooo! Take in a DAT file as an argument, query the user for gun-size/type and calculate the points!! :) But seriously, that sounds very cool! Will it do anything else other than cost calculations? I.E. Calculate its move rate, damage, (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

(...) Actually, we used a different statistic for Mech's because of that "loophole" because it didn't seem very fair (hopefully Mike will forgive us, unless of course he was the one to suggest it... I don't know-- it wasn't my idea)... We (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) LOL! (...) This is true....heh heh heh. The X-Wing pilot COULD try and set off some explosions with his lasers. No, wait. He could not, as he is strafing cavemen; they have no bombs or ammo. (...) Yes, that is the one. The US Marines use an (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

<Note, I am not familar enough with all of the BrikWars rules to have these discussions under their umbrella. I am usually speaking in, umm, practical terms.   Re: CO BrikWars get together

I agree with Mike here ... when we last played (lo, these two weeks ago ...), about 1/3 of my fielded forces were WWII-era pieces. I had a Jeep MB with towed howitzer and a German SdKfz 222 armored car running about with the 'mechs and flying (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) It took a big order from Auczilla and a bunch of post-christmas sale shopping to get that many. And I didn't even do anything particularly interesting with them, I just wanted a bunch of skeletons :) (...) Muahahahahahah! I'm not sure about (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) That may or may not be true, we weren't actually able to do a lot of real- world testing in that regard like we did with the chainsaw fighting and other stuff. How magik works may change depending on the battle and the players involved. (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) This is usually the way to go - it doesn't even matter that much if they aren't well matched, if you have more than two players. Weaker players will always tend to gang up on stronger ones, even if they don't declare official alliances. (...) (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) hahaha (...) Man, I wish I had 30 skeletons. You could just field them as regular Troopers if you wanted - they'd probably have the same armor value; their decreased sturdiness is counteracted by the fact that they can lose a lot of pieces (...)   Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) I doubt that anyone would do that, if all you had were a bunch of knights and somebody decided to butcher you with a bunch of Harriers, then you would just pack up and go home because there wouldn't even be any point in fighting the battle.   Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) That's probably the best plan. I'm starting to feel that the whole point ratio thing will never be a perfect fit; no amount of CaveMan troops would ever be able to defeat an X-Wing for instance, no matter how many extra points you gave the (...)
