Actually, what is an X-Wing going to do to a large group of cavemen.
It doesn't have any wide-field weapons.  All it can do is try to pick
off individual combatants.  And they can hide very well.  Actually, I
think someone tried something like this scenario with the EndorMoon
supplement.  :-)

This is true....heh heh heh. The X-Wing pilot COULD try and set off some
explosions with his lasers. No, wait. He could not, as he is strafing cavemen;
they have no bombs or ammo.

He could sure blow up their hiding places though.  And a caveman probably
isn't that much smaller than a womp rat, and Luke used to bullseye those all
the time in beggar's canyon.  Good thing the Empire did away with the ASPCA or
Luke would never have heard the end of that one.

You know who would be good at taking out a whole bunch of minifgs, would be a
couple of fire-breathing dragons.  Especially if you built one really big
dragon to back up all of Lego's cute little ones.  Come to think of it, a nest
of dragons of varying sizes would be a fun army to play.

Again, no field eliminator weaponry :) It would not take 2 minutes for a
Harrier to turn around. While it cannot hover for extended periods of time, it
CAN hover long enough to turn itself around in one location.

It would probably take longer for it to slow down to hovering speed, turn
around, then speed back up to strafing speed and return to the battle scene,
than it would just to turn around at full speed.

The US Army also used helicoptors in Viet Nam quite effectively, as they could
land in just about any clearing.

Yeah, we all remember how effective the army was in Viet Nam.  They could land
whenever they could find a clearing, but they were taking fire from all the
trees.

I doubt we'll be doing much fighting in a forest, however. How many people
have the 150 some trees to do a decent forest?

I probably have about that many trees, but they don't make a decent forest,
they're too small for troops to hide under.  Making a forest in BrikWars is
painful but it can be done.  You have to build a whole bunch of tree trunks
out of brix, maybe a bunch of branches if you want your troops to climb around
in the tree tops, but then leave most of the canopy 'imaginary' or you'll
never be able to get your hands in there to move troops around.  You could
also go to the trouble of giving each tree a canopy that is detachable as
needed.
