Actually.  I'd expect a truely powerful wizrd to run 300-500CP.  One
would be an entire army.  Classically, Wizards have virtually no armor.
Any attack that gets past his magic will probably kill him.  Getting past
the magic is the fun part.

What sort of defensive magic are wizards equipped with? On average, magic does
little against physical objects (such as a bullet, or a laser blast.) There is
levitate, but not much else....(and your wizard would probably be dead by the
time he finished his incantation!)


I may need to work one up for a battle some time.  It could be a lot of
fun.  Maybe a force of 3-5 wizards against all opposing armies.  Open
plain battling at its best.
