That may or may not be true, we weren't actually able to do a lot of real-
world testing in that regard like we did with the chainsaw fighting and other
stuff.  How magik works may change depending on the battle and the players
involved.  BrikWars wizards don't necessarily have to waste any time on
incantations though.

There are plenty of tricks a wizard can use against a guy shooting at him.  He
could protect himself under a magikal shield (giving him an Armor boost, not
making himself invincible); he could create stone walls between himself and
the soldier; he could cause the soldier to become clumsy and confused, so that
the soldier missed the shot; he could teleport himself out of range of the
soldier's attack; he could open up a magikal portal to another dimension in
the path of the oncoming bullet; he could take control of the soldier's mind;
etc.  All of these effects would be supported under the SP rules, it just
depends on how the wizard was designed and how many SP he had to spend.
