Jake,
I am sorry but you should know better.
First off not all of us think MS is the "Devil" nor did most of us participate
in the conversation. You should know better than anyone that people will
always discuss dissenting/negative views more readily than post about the
positive. Personally I could care less about this deal except if it eventually
makes shop.lego.com usable, because at the moment it is not for me.
I wouldn't take anything you see here too personally. There will always be
those that want to state their mind and express their view. That is the beauty
of LUGNET being an indepentant site. We can speak our mind about TLC and that
is a good thing. Sure some posts are misguided but you should know that being
a fan.
One thing you didn't really address in your post though was the fact that TLC
continues to neglect the Mac and Linux platforms. This is a bone of contention
for many and a real oversite in my mind if TLC really is serious about
becomeing more technically savy. Can you shed any light on support of other
platforms for TLC's software?
Again don't take what you read here personally. We are highly dedicated fans
which means we often have extreme and vocal people that want to express their
opinion. I personally don't see as much evil in MS as some do but there are
those that can't stand MS so they have a view that might not be as rationally
thought out as those with a more moderate view towards MS.

| All, Let me first say that this post is from an AFOL that happens to know quite a bit about the Microsoft relationship. Brad is putting together a post to talk about the details of the alliance as we speak. However, in the meantime, I want to calm (...)
