You are probably referring to Mocpages. And what happens there is, I guess,
this: People come along a MOC, see it's (for example) Castle stuff, are Mecha
kids themselves, think "blah, Castle, boring" and rate it 1/6.
On Lugnet there already is the Highlight function. Members are able to rate a
post by spotlighting and highlighting it. Often there are posts (with MOCs) that
several Lugnet members have given a Highlight, but no one bothered to give a
comment. And frankly, as nice as a high Highlight count is, a friendly comment
is nicer.
