PS. Yes this is a rant.

Rant or otherwise, you are correct, Tim. Too many members/viewers/lurkers do not post any comments here on new MOC announcements. A part of that may be the LUGNET interface, but perhaps more so is a fear of a reprisal from others (or perhaps, “Frippery”)[1]

(URL) This recent post> brought me back to something that's been bugging me for quite a while here. People rarely comment on MOCs here lately (with some exceptions like trains). For someone new to a forum I imagine this is extremely disheartening (...) (18 years ago, 11-Oct-06, to lugnet.general, FTX) !!
