As long as I can remember there was always a box or bucket that was just
bricks. Not the large quantity like the blue tub but still a bunch of bricks.

I personally like the creator sets (except for the Jack Stone figs) but I have
not bought very many (because I do not want the useless figs.)

I would say 95 percent of the people who want bricks but do not want the
Creator sets either buy something not Lego (K'nex sells very well, it is hard
to keep those in stock) or leave entirely.
